HeavyBid Server File Update
Prerequisites
1 Access to KRS PUB UTIL1
2 Access to Miller Mountain internal network
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log into KRS-PUB-UTIL1
- Open the Start Menu
- Run HCSS\Network User Utility
- Ask any user that is logged in to log out

Go to the V: drive
- Make a copy of the “HeavyBid” folder
- Go to https://community.hcss.com/ (https://community.hcss.com/)
- Log in with the “Heavybid Online” account
- Click on “My Software”

Scroll down to “Installs/Updaters”
- Click “Download” to the right of the latest version
- Run the installer that was downloaded (eg. HeavyBid2025.msi)
- Click “Next”
- Accept the agreement then click “Next”
- Make sure “Update to version XXX” is selected then click “Next”
- Click “OK”
- Click “Update”

When the update is complete, the “Convert Multiple Estimates” windows opens
- Click “Select All Masters”
- Click “Convert”
- Click “Finish”
- Run the install for each workstation (See the Install / Update Heavybid article)
FINISH CONVERTING ESTIMATES
- Open Heavbid and log in with the SUPPORT user
- Click the “Tools” menu
- Click “Run HCSS Programs”
- Under “Program”, select “ESTCONV”
- Click “OK”
- Make sure the “Only Show Unconverted Estimates” is checked
- Click “Select All”
- Click “Convert”
