Title: Enrolling a Device into Intune
Introduction: This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to enroll a device into Microsoft Intune for device management. It covers the necessary prerequisites, detailed instructions, and troubleshooting tips.
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to assist IT administrators in enrolling devices into Intune. This guide is intended for IT personnel who manage device enrollments and access within the organization.
Prerequisites: Before following the steps in this article, ensure you have the following:
- Administrative credentials for Intune.
- The device should be connected to a corporate network.
Details:
Subsection 1: Preparing for Device Enrollment Ensure you have all the required device information and administrative access to Intune.
Subsection 2: Accessing Intune Admin Center Open the Microsoft Intune admin center from your web browser.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Download the company portal application from the IOS store. This may already be on the device if it was previously enrolled in Maas360. First, open the application and you will see a setup Artera service access. Then press begin.

Step 2: After pressing begin you will see the privacy policy put in place from Intune read over it and press continue.

Step 3: You will then see the “review privacy information” has a check next to it then press continue again.

Step 4: After pressing continue it will show how to add the management profile and enroll the device into Intune. Go to the settings application on the phone or iPad.

- Step 5: You should see a option under your account profile information saying “profile download” click this.

- Step 6: The profile installer will pop up and press install.

- Step 7: Allow the root certificate authority to manage your device.

- Step 8: After allowing the root certificate and running the installer of the management profile you should see that the profile is installed.

- Step 9: After pressing the done button and going back into the profile that is downloaded you will see all the apps and security that are installed with the profile.

- Step 10: After exiting the settings application there will be a prompt to change the iphone/ipad password to get onto the device. The minimum is 6 characters after changing the password press continue.

- Step 11: Last step of enrolling the device into Intune go back to the company portal app and you should see 3 checks to get the last part checking device setting checked press continue.

- Step 12: After going through the steps for checking device settings and running the scan it should accept the device setting and you will see all checks on the enroll to Intune for the device. This means that the device is fully enrolled into Intune. Then press “done”

Step 13: After completing all the steps the group that the device is in will dictate what applications are downloaded. In the event the user needs a certain application installed the group with the application will need to be applied to the device you just added in intune. After about 20 minutes you will see the device pop up under the users name. Then go to the app group you want to push and add the device to that group after about 5 minutes the app will be installed.
