Step 1: Open File Explorer
Press the Windows key + E or click on the File Explorer icon on your taskbar.
Step 2: Map Network Drive
In File Explorer, click on "This PC" in the left pane. Then, click on the "Computer" tab at the top and select "Map network drive."
Step 3: Choose a Drive Letter
Select a drive letter from the dropdown menu. This will be the letter assigned to the network drive.
Step 4: Enter the Folder Path
In the "Folder" field, type the path of the network drive you want to connect to. DDS has 2 and they are S and T drive with the path shown below.
S: \\dds-syn-001.corp.artera.com\ddse\DDSE
T: \\fs2.ddscompanies.local\ddsc
Step 5: Finish
Click "Finish" and enter your credentials when prompted. The network drive should now be mapped and accessible from File Explorer.
Issue 1: Unable to Connect to Network Drive
Solution: Ensure your computer is connected to the DDS network and that you have entered the correct folder path and credentials.
Issue 2: Network Drive Not Showing Up
Solution: Restart your computer and try mapping the network drive again. If the issue persists, contact the DDS helpdesk.
